If you’re anything like me, you’ve experienced some entrepreneurial anxiety at some point in the game… or perhaps every day you’re feeling it.
I totally get it.
In fact, as I sit here writing this I’ve just gone through the same exercise I’m about to share with you because my anxiety this morning was through.the.roof.
Sometimes when you’re making big changes in your world, life gets overwhelming.
I mean, let’s be honest… Sometimes when you’re just living life can get overwhelming.
And it’s easy to want to run. And hide. And never emerge from the safety of the cave of covers.
So do me a favor. It’s ok if you need a moment to be in that safe space of nothingness, but don’t live there.
You won’t have any impact on the world if you hide from it.
So take a minute to breathe.
And then realize that you’re prepared for this.
Everything in your life has led you to this point, which means you have the resources, skills, and people in your life to help you through this.
What you’re feeling is valid. It’s real. And it’s also NOT permanent.
I can tell you because I’ve been there. And I hit that point of anxiety often.
Anxiety isn’t something I’ve overcome.
No, anxiety will be my partner in crime for a while. But I’ve learned how I deal with my own particular brand of anxiety.
And I want you to experience that same empowering feeling of knowing you have the tools you need to overcome anxiety.
Entrepreneurial anxiety adds a whole new level of stress.
Being a business owner is stressful. So when you’re dealing with normal business stress and anxiety at the same time?
And also, you’re not alone.
Seriously. I have yet to meet a business owner or entrepreneur who doesn’t experience anxiety at some level and at some point in their journey.
So you’re not alone. That’s thing number one.
Thing number two is that you’re not weaker because of anxiety. You’re actually stronger because you’ll learn so much from wrangling this beast.
