Inertia

Speaking on principles of inertia: That which is in motion stays in motion. That which is stationary is resistant to change. I have felt so in my life. I feel as though I have not been able to do anything about my current situation the last 6 weeks or so. Now I feel like I am finally able to do something to change my current state. I have been able to take action which has caused action. What an important principle to learn in life. I am certain I will learn it over and over as my life progresses, but I have learned it the last 24 hours.

Action. Action is so important, so critical. Are you waiting for life to happen to you or are you happening to life? Are you waiting for the world to change, or are you changing it? Most importantly, are you aligning your will with God’s? Are you taking action to bring you closer to Him so you can bring about His change?

Inertia. Action. I think I’ve found my new action words. No excuses has been my mantra for the year up until this point, but now… Now is the time to take action. Now is the time to stop looking around and look forward, allowing my feet to hit the pavement running. No meandering for me. Time for me to create the change. No more resistance.

Action.
